Yayasan Universiti Multimedia was established on 12 February 2009 upon receiving approval from the Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia and is registered under the Trustees ACT 1952. YUM is established with noble objectives where it aspires to be a platform for promotion of knowledge building activities within the University and also to help the institution move towards a self sustainable mode. Part of this effort includes providing financial aid for students who deserve an educational opportunity, helping the unfortunate people in the community to live a better life and in essence to help Multimedia University fulfill its Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR). Funds generated from private donors, corporations and organizations will be channeled towards achieving the noble objectives as established above.
